Many of the new tools and features introduced with MapTools V6 were developed in concert with service projects completed by TCI Mapping Services. (Click here for Details) Altogether there are over 20 new and improved functions in V6.

Many MapTools functions now support Object Data
Object.Data has been a part of AutoCAD Map (in one form or another) for several years. MapTools V6 includes a number of new Object Data oriented functions and capabilities including:
* PolyTools Maintain Object Data
* PET - Search and Replace using Object Data
* ODANNO - Create Text labels from Object Data
* ODATT - Create Attribute Blocks from Object Data
* ADJUST - Create Rubbersheeting Calibration using Object Data
As is the case with All MapTools V6 functions, these Object Data functions work with all versions of AutoCAD Map from V3 (based on R14) to V7 (based on R16).

The CoriMap Sampler is extended to include this powerhouse tool.
Our.Attribute Arrangement tool is a multi-purpose function for rearranging attributes associated with Blocks and Reordering groups of attributes in "Station Order". The CoriMap Sampler version includes a command line interface with All of the capabilities of the CoriMap version (no batch capability).

An All New Calibration Manager and Calibration Set Editor
The first,.most critical and time consuming operator task of the rubber sheeting process is setting the Calibration Point Set. Our new dialog box driven interface includes many new functions to help you Create, Review, Modify, Save and Recall these point sets.

New Object Data Conversion Tool

Convert Points w/OD to Attribute Blocks
ODATT.creates attribute block representations of Points that have Object Data attached. A new attribute block is created in your drawing that contains one Invisible Attribute for each Field in the chosen Object Data Table.

New Coincident Linework Finder

Find Coincident Linework
COINS.finds linework that is Coincident with other linework - a piece of linework that is positioned on top of some other piece of linework. A selection set is created and selected.

New Block & Attribute Tools

ATTPOS - Helps you position Attributes in crowded areas
ATTPOS was designed to assist with the repositioning of Visible Attributes in "crowded" applications. When you pick an Attribute, a Colored Graphic Line is drawn from the Attribute to the Block it is associated with. This helps you to position it in relation to the Block. Three versions are included; Maintain Rotation, Rotation to angle 0 and Rotation to match Selected Linework.

Rotate Blocks independently of Attributes
RBLKS allows interactive rotation of Block Graphics without changing the position or orientation of Attributes.
