MapTools Basic is collection of over 75 tools to automate the tasks most common to map preparation, cleanup and maintenance. Operating as a natural extension to AutoCAD, MapTools can help mapmakers deliver higher quality, topologically correct maps in much less time. It has been developed over a period of more than 10 years in response to real world customer input.
Automation Ready - Many of these tools can operate as a part of more complex automation operations (Local and Batch) using MapTools Commander.

MapTools is easy to use MapTools functions are organized into a single cascading pulldown menu that can easily be integrated into your own menu. Most MapTools functions can be activated with 2 or 3 keystrokes or a single menu pick. The DEMO submenu includes 28 fully automated demonstrations that explain what the purpose of the tool is and how to apply it in everyday tasks. Our set of Common Tools is included with every TCI Software product. These include 7 EED tools, 8 Layer Management tools and a configurable logging system.
